Community Futures Central Alberta Welcomes Amber Mack as General Manager

The Community Futures Central Alberta (CFCA) board is pleased to announce the appointment of Amber Mack as their new General Manager.

A highly respected leader with more than 20 years of experience, Amber brings a diverse background spanning municipal government, nonprofit leadership, business advocacy, governance, and community development. She most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of the Red Deer & District Chamber of Commerce and previously held the role of Executive Director at The Golden Circle Senior Resource Centre.

Amber is widely recognized for her collaborative leadership style and her ability to build strong, meaningful partnerships. As a trusted connector and community builder, she is passionate about supporting entrepreneurs, strengthening communities, and creating environments where people, businesses, and organizations can thrive.

“Amber’s depth of experience and her strong commitment to community development make her an exceptional fit for this role,” said Len Phillips, Board Chair of Community Futures Central Alberta. “Her proven leadership, ability to bring people together, and passion for supporting local businesses will help guide CFCA into an exciting new chapter as we continue to serve entrepreneurs and communities across Central Alberta.”

“It is a privilege to join Community Futures Central Alberta and build upon the strong foundation established by those who have helped shape the organization over the past 35 years. I look forward to working alongside our Board, staff, partners, and clients as we continue supporting small businesses, strengthening communities, and creating opportunities throughout Central Alberta,” said Amber Mack.

CFCA would also like to extend its sincere gratitude to outgoing General Manager Kelly Kierluk for her exceptional leadership and dedication since 2009. Over the past 17 years, Kelly has played a pivotal role in advancing CFCA’s mission, supporting entrepreneurs, and strengthening communities across Central Alberta. Her leadership has left a lasting impact on the organization, and we wish her every success as she moves into her new role as Executive Director of the Community Futures Network of Alberta.
